Burgundy corduroys - a trouser conceived when roving through the endless rolls of cloth at our Yorkshire fabric mill. A rich colour caught our eye. Something to do with the soft yellow light hitting the narrow red ridges and the subtle reflection of a dark richness beyond. It was an eleven wale burgundy corduroy, a needle cord, known such for the narrowness of those lines. It wasn't long before a sample was whipped up, and from their a run was made.
These tailored cord trousers are slim along the leg. Seven and half inches at the hem and twelve at the thigh. They have a medium to high rise, so can be easily dressed up with a shirt and sports jacket. Or down with a sense of slumber and slouch. They are minimally designed without pleats or creases. Pockets include two slant side, a hip and a hidden fob. Details include rounded end extension and french bearer at the front.
And as always the cloth and manufacturing hails from Yorkshire. Made in luxurious corduroy cloth - a pure cotton material and one that we're very happy with. Proudly made in the UK.
